Ocean Center and The Locals Mix Presents: Diving Board Sessions
The Ocean Center in partnership with The Locals Mix continues its free monthly live entertainment series, Diving Board Sessions, spotlighting local music, nonprofits, and creative culture in a relaxed waterfront setting.
Each event features original live music, rotating artists, nonprofit spotlights, and themed food and beverage offerings available for purchase.

The series is designed to create an accessible, welcoming experience that brings the community together to celebrate creativity, culture, and connection in an intimate waterfront environment.
General admission is free.
VIP tables are available for purchase in advance for $100 per table and include reserved seating for four to six guests, a charcuterie board, and exclusive VIP access.
Free parking is available in the Orange (South) Lot.
Guests are encouraged to RSVP in advance or secure a VIP table online.

ORIGINAL MUSIC COMPETITION
Calling all original bands and artists
All performers must prepare a 30-minute set of original music only (no covers). One song from your set will be recorded and featured on The Locals Mix YouTube for public voting.
Voting will be open for one week
One vote per person
To apply, you must be available for all potential dates if selected:
• June – First Round
• August – Second Round
• October – Finals
• December – Awards Show

Join us for a special Open House at Elite Music Academy on May 16 and get an inside look at one of the area’s most dynamic creative spaces.
Explore Elite Music Academy, tour the classrooms, meet the team, and learn about their programs in music, art, and dance. Throughout the evening, enjoy a live creative atmosphere featuring performances and artistic elements curated by The Locals Mix.
The Locals Mix will also be sharing what’s coming up next, including updates on upcoming events like the Music + Arts Expo and new opportunities for local artists, musicians, and creatives to get involved.
This event is designed to be welcoming, interactive, and community-driven bringing together people of all ages who are interested in creativity, expression, and connection.

We are excited to announce the 3rd Annual Daytona Beach Kiwanis Duck Race on January 18th! This is the largest duck race in Central Florida, and we would love for you to be a part of it by adopting a duck and supporting our cause. This fun, family-friendly event offers free entry and will be filled with food, vendors, music, a kids activity zone, and, of course, the main event the thrilling duck race!
With cash prizes of $2,500 for 1st place, $1,000 for 2nd place, and $500 for 3rd place, everyone has a chance to win! The best part?
