The Future MIX

The Future Mix is an outreach program by The Locals Mix dedicated to inspiring and empowering children through music and the arts. By providing
hands-on experiences, mentorship, and creative resources, we help young minds explore their artistic potential, build confidence, and develop
valuable life skills.

How It Works:

ART + MUSIC WORKSHOPS – Free or low-cost sessions where kids can learn to play instruments, write songs, paint, or create digital art.
ARTIST + MUSICIAN MENTORSHIP – Local professionals guide and inspire the next generation of creatives.
COMMUNITY ART PROJECTS – Public murals, pop-up performances, and collaborative exhibits showcasing kid’S work.
EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH – Partnering with schools and community centers to bring arts education to underserved youth.
PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES – Open mic nights, youth showcases, and festival spots to give kids a stage to shine.

Opportunities for Schools + Students:

SCHOOLS + COMMUNITY CENTERS – We invite schools to sign up for The Future Mix to bring engaging arts programs directly to their students. Whether through in-school workshops, after-school programs, or special events, we tailor experiences to fit your needs.

HIGH SCHOOL COMMUNITY SERVICE HOURS – High school students can earn volunteer hours by assisting with workshops, events, and community art projects. It’s a fun and meaningful way to give back while gaining valuable skills and experience.
